In our third part of the Philosophy of Mind series, Dr. Justin Clarke runs the Gwartney team through functionalism. Functionalism pictures the human mind as a computer, or capable of grasping input to create an output. This theory of mind paints humans as physical beings, only being able to accept first-person, objective truths.
